Expresslube expands to Devon - Cornwall and Ireland
Press Release - October 2005
Expresslube (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the setting up of Expresslube Ireland Ltd and Expresslube South West – Devon & Cornwall.
Expresslube UK started their Fuel Polishing service over 3 years ago servicing the marine industry across the country from Scotland to Cornwall, dealing with contaminated fuel and tanks using their unique portable fuel polishing machines
They became European distributor for the total fuel additive; Fuel Doctor, which is formulated to disperse, dissolve and prevent the accumulation of condensation, fuel bug, gum, varnish and wax’s from the fuel system.
Darthaven Services will be offering a fuel polishing service, through Expresslube South West, covering Devon and Cornwall from the 1st November 2005. Dave Hill, the engineering manager at Darthaven, found that conventional methods of cleaning fuel tanks were both expensive and at times difficult. Having recommended Expresslube UK to several customers, Dave felt the service would fit well into Darthaven’s overall set up. After obtaining management approval, Dave approached Chris Roos, suggesting the set up of Expresslube South West, offering the services to any potential customers, marine, industrial or domestic within the South West area.
Fuel Doctor, a conditioner designed to reduce the risk of problems within the fuel system, will be stocked in Dathavens’s comprehensive Chandlery, open seven days a week all year round. Fuel Doctor will also be stocked onboard the Expresslube South West mobile fuel polishing unit van covering the Devon and Cornwall area.

Noel O’Connor, based in Dublin, Ireland read about the service and contacted Chris Roos of Expresslube UK to find out more about the fuel bug problem and the service provided by Expresslube UK. After flying over from Ireland to inspect the machine and service in use, Noel a boat owner himself was so impressed that he decided that this was a service that he could offer in Ireland not only within the marine environment but like Expresslube UK to any potential customer suffering with fuel contamination.
Expresslube Ireland took delivery of there Fuel Polishing Machine along with a stock of Fuel Doctor and have become authorised Irish distributors of the complete fuel conditioner recommended and used by Expresslube (UK) at the end of October.
